The synchronous pulley drive is composed of a closed annular belt with equidistant teeth on the inner peripheral surface and the corresponding pulley. When moving, the belt teeth mesh with the tooth grooves of the pulley to transmit motion and power. It is a meshing transmission, so it has various characteristics of gear transmission, chain transmission and flat belt transmission. It is widely used in automobile, textile, printing and packaging equipment, sewing equipment, office equipment, laser engraving equipment, tobacco, financial machines and tools, stage lighting, communication and food machinery, medical machinery, steel machinery, petrochemical industry, instruments and meters, various precision machine tools and other fields.
The synchronous belt pulley has the following seven characteristics
(1) The transmission is relatively accurate, there is no sliding phenomenon when working, and has a stable transmission ratio;
(2) The transmission is stable, with the ability of cushioning and vibration reduction, and the noise is still very low;
(3) The transmission efficiency is high, up to 0.98, and the energy-saving effect is very obvious;
(4) The maintenance is very convenient, no lubrication is required, and the maintenance cost is relatively low;
(5) The speed ratio range is relatively large, usually up to 10, and the linear speed can reach 50M / s, with a large power transmission range, usually up to a few watts to hundreds of kilowatts;
(6) It can be used in long-distance transmission, and the center distance can be more than 10 meters.
(7) No pollution, able to work normally in a harsh environment.
The synchronous pulley is generally made of steel, aluminum alloy, cast iron, brass and other materials. The inner hole is in the form of round hole, D-shaped hole, conical hole, etc. Surface treatment includes natural color oxidation, blackening, zinc plating, color zinc plating, high-frequency quenching and other treatments. The accuracy level depends on the customer's requirements.
The synchronous belt pulley can be divided as follows according to the tooth shape:
Trapezoidal tooth
Circular arc tooth
Flat top circular arc tooth
Double sided circular arc tooth
Double sided trapezoidal tooth
